Our clients wanted to stay in the home they had loved but which was not only dated but the existing layout was not really working for them. Their choice was to transform their bungalow into a contemporary, more open-plan living scheme by extending the kitchen, adding a new entrance to the front elevation and introducing new windows throughout with large sliding doors across the back of the building. This created much brighter living areas with lots of natural light as well as providing views and easy access out onto the garden, “bringing the outside in”. As well as a completely new internal layout and new systems the refurbishment also included a new roof (and solar panels) and a stunning new entrance hall was created providing an extremely cleaver facelift to the bungalow.
